Caribbean Poker Rules and Tricks

Internet poker has become globally Celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore.Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of deception.In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players are given 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original bet, which means that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with an amount equal to the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays out money equal to your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
