Poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes directly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays out cash equal to your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

• Equal for a pair or high card
• 2-1 for 2 pairs
• 3-1 for 3 of a kind
• four to one for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
